Thought it was the comics.

This is just the movies read outlout as if they were books. not what I was expecting. The narrator was okay though.

good story, bad performance

The stories were good but the performance was kind of boring, it needed more enthusiasm.

Really good retelling of the trilogy! (For the most part)

This narrator gives a lively performance of three great novelizations of the Iron Man films. The books do a good job of recapturing the stories of the films, apart from the third one, which for some reason makes weird changes to the climactic battle and aftermath...
Again, other than that, it is a great collection and worthy tribute to Iron Man himself!!!

it was a good book even though it was a combination of the young adult novels. the reading was ok for the books. I would definitely recommend the book to marvel comic fans.

Interesting junior novelization of the movies.

Cuts out some stuff and adds other things that weren't in the movies to make a slightly different version of all three stories. Certainly not a straight up novelization of the movies, but good in its own way as a standalone retelling that really used the movies as a guide for overall story. Very nicely done. Might've been better if the movie actors had done the reading, but there's probably a good reason why they didn't. Even helps fill in a couple odd gaps in the movies stories. The legend of the iron man as told by Tony's friend in the cave, for instance. That wasn't in the movie, if I remember correctly.

This is good REALLY GOOD

I love the book in a way that’s serious but even though I’m 9 I still love it but it’s disappointing that the narrator is not Robert Johnny Junior

here's a great book is great that there was more detail and more depth on characters and relations so it was nice to hear a different perspective on books then the movies.

Short and slightly different

I had just rewatched all the Iron Man movies and thought I would listen to the audio versions. There are several differences mostly minor ones but in thinking that the story was written before the movie you can see how Marvel and actors like RDJ added or changed things. Iron Man 1 was good in story and length, 2 was short and rushed, 3 was the most different. If you are a diehard fan, it’s worth a listen. But if you’re a casual fan it could be a pass.
