Publisher's summary

From the USA TODAY best-selling author of Truth or Beard.

What do a cynical former Marine and a sheltered former Olympic contender have in common?

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

He has a girlfriend, and she's never been kissed.

He's sullenly sarcastic, and she's earnestly empathetic.

He can't stop thinking about her.

She knows she should keep her distance.

Nevertheless, when opposites attract, the results may be unexpected, but they're also undeniably magnetic.

Ninja at First Sight is a stand-alone, prequel novella (for book five of the Knitting in the City Series, Happily Ever Ninja).

Fall in love all over again

Cant help to feel the feelings of destiny and love for these characters. The beginnings of heartstrings bonding. The humor of life. Listen to it. Laugh with it. Fall in love with them. I did.

Greg and Fiona's Beginning

This was a great into to Greg and Fiona. Fiona has been a mystery for me until Sandra’s book when a little of her past was brought to life. She was the only one in the circle with a significant other from the very beginning but we never really met Greg. I loved this glimpse of how they met, especially seeing how Greg fell for Fiona when he first saw her but kept his distance for a year. Em Eldridge narrated this one and did a great job with Fiona and with Greg’s posh British accent.

Oh Greg!

I love who greg is. I love that he knows what he wants and who he is and he is in apologetic and goes for it. Fiona is quirky and shy but smart and whitty . They make a great pair!

Great book for an intro to Fiona

Looking forward to listening to the next book. This one is good and revolves around college love. I cannot wait for the next book.

Stay with it

I was a little confused with book 5, thinking we left our beloved characters behind. Yes, I was a little slow in picking up Fiona as a main character. The saga continues and remains fresh and entertaining. I continue to be surprised by the variety of characters and how much I love each one. Thank you Penny Reid!

Nice backfill for a great story

I prefer to listen to a story more than once before reviewing it and I must say, I enjoyed the “Knitting In The City” series just as much the second time as the first. Between Penny’s wit in and of daily life and the fantastic narrations of each and every narrator she has chosen, the stories were each a belly laugh and a captivating story.
Kudos 👍🏻 to everyone involved in the making of these audiobooks.
😣 I do have one complaint. Why O why are the women referred to as “girls”??? Are the males “boys” ? If we are discussing “girls and boys” should they be in an adult romance story??

Great, funny and entertaining story!

I found this series because I had listened to the narrator in connection with another author and I was searching for other books she had narrated. I just loved the narrator in this book. Also, this author is talented, engaging and just downright hilarious! I intend to read the rest of the series.
