What did you love best about Titanic?
It was a retelling of the story of the sinking of the Titanic and the aftermath of the tragedy. While it states this is the "most complete story ever told" I didn't find anything new or earth shattering in the story.
What did you like best about this story?
It seemed accurate and did have some details that were interesting such as the telegraph operator's failure to alert the bridge about the ice and the burial of the bodies at sea and in Halifax.
Which scene was your favorite?
The description of the ship sinking was very well done.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Any additional comments?
At the end of the book there was an interview with someone who worked on a cruise ship. I began listening but it had nothing to do with the Titanic. I actually listened to this book while on a cruise from Boston to Halifax and being on a cruise ship helped me envision what it might have been on the Titanic. I was also able to visit the graves of the 120 victims, some unknowns, who are buired in Halifax, NS.

Fascinating and extremely frustrating this is one of the best Titanic books I've ever heard or read and I've read a lot. The details, the colors of things, the incredible descriptions are just really wonderful! However music appears randomly all but obliterating the narrator's voice. What's up with that???? Get rid of the music! Huge chunks of this book are drowned out by the music. It appears randomly and has no relation at all that I can see to the story. Huge chunks of this book that I would really like to hear I couldn't, all I could hear was unrelated irritating music.
