Publisher's summary

This is an absolutely marvelous chunk of history, and it's extremely well told. I personally think that if the work of these women had been common knowledge and celebrated decades ago, we might not be dealing with such virulent white supremacy today.
A note about the English translation of the title:
There is a much better English translation.
Fuerza would be far better translated as strength in this use.
La fuerza no tiene genero (the first e in genero should be accented but the system doesn't accept marks)
Strength Has No Gender
Likewise, a different meaning for valor fits far better here. Valor can mean value, but it can also mean courage, which is the best choice for this phrase.
El valor no tiene limite (the first i in limite should be accented but the system doesn't accept marks)
Courage Has No Limit
