If you could sum up La otra historia de México: Hidalgo e Iturbide [People's History of Mexico: Hidalgo and Iturbide] in three words, what would they be?
I thought unabridged was 100% of the book, not 98%.

pg. 129 (2008) editorial Diana of the book "La otra historia de Mexico-Hidalgo e Iturbide-La gloria y el olvido by Armando Fuentes Aguirre "Caton" has the sentence:

"Tambien ahi se hacen mitines politicos, y ahi se celebran tambien los tirunfos de la seleccion mexicana de futbol" (Also political rallies are held there and they also celebrate there when the Mexican national soccer team wins). This is NOT included in the audiobook version.

This is in reference to where the skulls of Hidalgo, Allende, Jimenez y Aldama rest below the column of Independence in Mexico.
Perhaps the author, editorial, or audiobook company believed this sentence was offensive or flippant and should be removed. This sentence merely highlights the irony of the situation.

This book would have gotten five stars if it had been 100% faithful to the book.
(note: perhaps the "new" 2012 editorial issue of this book, sold on Amazon, had "minor changes to the content" by the author who perhaps excluded passages deemed undesirable. So the audiobook may be faithful to the "new and re-edited" (changed) version of the book)

Esta narración me dio un renovado respeto por los personajes de la historia de México, así como la influencia de la madre patria en este pais.
