Enjoyable

The only problem I had is that it ended. I think that these are stories of the way Americans effected the culture of this country told in a way I could get into the story.

Another great book learn a lot

Glenn Beck is a great story teller with facts and interesting story lines. You come away with a better understanding of the people in history, some you grew up with.

Not Just for Americans

Where does Dreamers and Deceivers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Dreamers and Deceivers ranks in the top 10% of the Audiobooks in my Library of nearly 100 books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Alan Turing was by far the most important historical character, His impact on world history and progress puts him in the same class of world changers as Albert Einstein and the bloke that invented the wheel. Turing however actually built a device that changed world history. His story is described in such detail that the impact of its significance is brought home with irony and awe.

Any additional comments?

There are eight stories in this audio book each about an hour long , excellent lengths for many tasks including commutes and exercise. I actually enjoyed the book while clearing the garden after the last harvest in the fall. Audio books are an excellent way of keeping your mind engaged while doing mundane physical tasks.
