Compelling case for each, super repetitive

The book makes a solid case for most if not all of the cases, citing multiple sources for each and covering many different facets of each case. However while laying out the facts from several different sources specifically on the Marilyn Monroe and JFK there is a large amount of repetitiveness. This can become quite tedious and sometimes unbearable. I found myself skipping through at least an hour of The Maryland Monroe story and 45 minutes of JFK. It was worth it though I learned many new things surrounding several of the events.

This Book is "DEAD ON"

I've heard and read of these famous murders and conspiracies and most of the people involved in them are dead...But...The Vince Foster murder should be investigated...The poor man was murdered by the government and the next person that wants to be President...

Amateurish and repetitive writing

What would have made Dead Wrong better?

An editor to weed out the instances where the same point is made over and over and over again. I'm not sure if this was bad writing or someone padding out a book. And then there's the overuse of the word "literally."

What was most disappointing about Richard Belzer and David Wayne ’s story?

They took interesting facts and wrote them in the most hacky way possible. Truly poor writing.

Great content, poorly written

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, but with a warning that it is terribly repetitive. Other reviewers have pointed this out, but until I listened myself, I did not believe it could be that bad. The content however is of such great interest that I recommend it nonetheless.

What did you like best about this story?

Reveals many things that are important to know.

Starts strong, trails off

The narration was rather strange. It started strong, but towards the end it just felt like they were padding the book for length. Ends with talking about being an American patriot, right after it covered a British conspiracy. Strange. Though to be fair, by the end I was having trouble finishing the book.
Probably would not recommend. There are much better books out there on the same subject

Love this book

What did you love best about Dead Wrong?

One the best I've read. Didn't want it end. So much knowledge in one book. Genius

Who was your favorite character and why?

Always JFK

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He did great job

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Marylyn's death. So many mistakes were made and still a sucide. Sad

Any additional comments?

A+++

Repeat, repeat, and repeat again

The cases are quite interesting and the investigations seem to be quite thorough. Very interesting. My only negative is that the authors repeated the same information over and over and over again. Sometimes verbatim. At one point, I thought the recording was skipping like an old scratched record.

Well Titled

The narrators did a good job of presenting the material. With respect to the late Mr. Belzer, this was a remarkable assembly of suppositions, unsecured facts and leaps of misplaced faith. It possesses good, darkly ironic, entertainment value but should be only tangentially confused with rigorous investigation.
