This is the first review I have written since my 2 yr membership with Audible. I want to encourage you to take a look at this book!
The book provides the most up to date research in Weight Loss Science and is in line with other credible sources. As an Exercise Physiologist I found the book very useful in helping clients to understand weight loss essentials. The only draw back is that the author often refers to 'CD 4' for text files and quizzes. At first this was a problem but I found I could go to the website and get the guide to accompany the book (which I recommend you do).
The author is enjoyable to listen to and gets to the point. I highly recommend this book if you are having trouble losing weight and want to get good current scientific advice.

This book is very helpful. Dr. Hyman does a good job of showing why we might be working against ourselves in regard to staying healthy and trim, and how to remedy it. The information on CD 4 is available on the product summary page for this book on audible.com. Just click the product summary tab above, and look at the very bottom for the "extras" link. There is similar information available at ultrametabolism.com/guide, though the extras link is probably better.
