This is NOT just about weight loss, it's about self-love....which is the root of true joy anyway. I've listened once and plan to listen again and again. My future is bright and I can feel the beginnings of true self-acceptance that I don't think I've ever experienced in my entire life. I can't recommend this book enough. EVERYONE should experience it.

Amazing resource

This book is really amazing. Jessica gets to the heart of the real issues behind a struggle with weight.

Personally, I didn't expect to be able to relate to all of the issues in this book since I am not technically overweight (my problem being that I fluctuate between being obsessed with getting 'skinny' and taking time off from doing any kind of exercise). In spite of this, I decided to go ahead and do all of the exercises as they came up anyway. While doing these exercises, I soon realized that all of the issues covered do apply to me - the behavior was just so engrained that I failed to recognize it upon first sight. As a result, I learned a lot about myself and was able to really examine my relationship with my body.
I just finished the book but I am fairly certain I am on my way to a much healthier self-image and relationship with food and exercise.

Jessica does mispronounce one or two words and there are a few times when music plays awkwardly but these are only minor distractions.

I highly recommend this book to women of all ages. If you are a woman, chances are our society's obsession with thinness is affecting you in some way and you will be better off after examining the impact it has had on your life and using Jessica's exercises to release this pressure.

Jessica has really nailed it

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I've been studying EFT for a short time and I also struggle with my weight in that I find it hard to let go of the last 7 kilos. I have tried lots of different methods and I have realized through Jessica's book that it is all psychological. The reasons we eat and what we eat has more to do with our brain than with our hunger. Jessica talks thoroughly about the reasons we want to hold on to our weight and what we can do to control these feelings.

What about Jessica Ortner’s performance did you like?

Jessica's way of communicating is straight forward and to the point. She uses real case examples which explains how EFT has helped. She also gives the EFT scripts in her book and explains how to tap effectively and what to say, which I sometimes am lost for words.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You want to lose weight, look inside your mind.

Any additional comments?

By reading Jessica's book, I have utilized EFT for other areas of my life which I need to clear. I loved the way she explains EFT point by point in a way that is concise and easy to follow.

The Best Book I've listened to

What made the experience of listening to The Tapping Solution for Weight Loss & Body Confidence the most enjoyable?

The content was excellent and the narration was great. I prefer when the author narrates their own work.

What other book might you compare The Tapping Solution for Weight Loss & Body Confidence to, and why?

The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins. Excellent content, case studies and narration by the author

What does Jessica Ortner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

She has a very hypnotic way of speaking and you make a connection with the person and what she's trying to bring to the world

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. It was so relevant and respectful.

Any additional comments?

The only thing I found was when doing some of the tapping the sequence finished abruptly and the next section or chapter started immediately.
