Not worth the price

First regarding listening enjoyment. The narrator was pleasant to listen to but the content was not. There were recipes and lists, which, for me, made for an unpleasant audio book.

Secondly, the organization of the book was poor. I would have preferred to have to science behind sugar detox's benefits upfront and then learn about the program they were promoting.

Third, the authors lost me when they called sugar an opiate. Sugar is NOT an opioid. The book was riddled with bad information, big leaps in connecting science with the picture they wanted to portray. It also had an undertone of body shaming in women and that is just unhealthy.

I would not recommend this book to anyone. I'm sure there are much better diet and nutrition books regarding sugar and its effects on the body than this drivel.

Don't waste your time. Absolutely no science Behind and idiotic book. They obviously just wrote it to swindle people out of their money.
