HOLISTIC HEALTH IS THE WAY TO GO!

I loved this book. Being a chiropractic student myself this is right up my alley. Anyone wanting to live their life to the fullest should check out this book. It can get you on track to a healthy life style and can help you turn a 180 from a world pumping a healthy view into our brains that's furthest from the truth.

Too many coo-coo personal opinions

The basic nutritional advise was good but nothing I haven't heard before. it was troubling when the author revealed his electrophobia and when he mentioned that he wouldn't let someone with aftershave enter his home. That's when he lost me.

Supplements, supplements, supplements!

Although this book had useful information, I hated the repetitive "take supplements" recommendation. To be healthy does not mean: "take supplements all your life". Also, the autor promoted "chiropractic" as a miraculously treatment (because his wife is a chiropractor) and he, as an osteopathic physician knew perfectly the limitations of this alternative treatment modality. Good concepts BUT "supplements" and "chiropractic as a miracle" made me feel upset about this book...

wake up call to health

very informative, makes you more aware of your surroundings in every aspect of your life . I love how the Paleo Cardiologist does not try to gently disagree with the SICKCARE system . He is a strong force of good health and doesn't care about the old way of treating people . he is looking for the healthiest way and the only way to better health .I love this book !

Not just for cardiology patients!

I read this book because my husband has a heart problem and I didn't like the idea of just medicating him and leaving him to slowly get worse. I learned natural ways to help him, and to help me! The book is laid out well, the science is easy to understand, and all of the advice is practical and doable. I'm more optimistic about our family's future after reading this book!

Valuable Book, worth the read.

Would you listen to The Paleo Cardiologist again? Why?

No, once I listen to a non-fiction book like this, if I like the book, then I order the print version for reference. Especially for a book like this, with lists and recipes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Paleo Cardiologist?

Author is a cardiologist who is now practicing Functional Medicine and he gives a good overview of and rationale for Functional Medicine principles.

Did Marcus Freeman do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The Narrator Marcus Freeman, does not know how to pronounce many of the technical and medical terms, which is distracting. And there is a technical issues where the narration skips a small section of the book.
