Good information but a little outdated
I wanted to start this diet again and had to make a 3 hour total drive so I thought I would get a head start on my reading. This helped but is a bit outdated. There is a new book called "The New Atkins For A New You" that is much better however Audible doesn't carry it. This one tells you not to drink coffee however the new one has used newer research and tell you it's not only ok but can help. However, for the basics and how to get started and even later how to move onto the later stages, it is a very good book.

A decent primer, if one is needed.
What did you like best about The Atkins Essentials? What did you like least?
I wasn't strict enough with my attempt. I needed it.
Would you be willing to try another book from Atkins Health and Medical Information Services ? Why or why not?
This is kinda salesy for their other products.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Nothing to say here, not much of a performance
Do you think The Atkins Essentials needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, it was written after its follow-up.
