A manual for reclaiming health in the 21st century
Solving the Paleo Equation is probably the most useful non-fiction audio book I have listened to. It is chock-full of explanations and suggestions for each of the subtitled areas: stress, nutrition, exercise, and sleep. With my personal issues of low thyroid, low morning body temperature, waking every morning between 2-4 am, and stubborn extra weight to get rid of, I am confident that I will be able to remedy these with their advice. The best part is that people already have, and I will be joining those who have stopped the insanity that the "industry" is feeding us and reclaim my health and vitality.
For those who have bought into the super-training craze, the section on exercise is a MUST READ. Read it for your significant other and your kids and grandkids!
I have not listened to either of these men before this book. And while I enjoyed the reading there were a couple of places where it sounded as if they changed recording machines or locations. However, the personalities of the readers far outweighed this minor distraction.
At 5+ hours this book is doable in a day. However, the "meat" in some of the sections is so dense that revisiting them will be a must. Several times.
The goal of the book (as stated in the introduction) of being a real-life guide, balanced, safe, and practical hit the bulls-eye dead on. Thank you!

A No-Nonsense Health Blueprint!!!
Solving the Paleo Equation is a must listen for anyone who wants to live a healthy and abundant life.
Particularly useful for anyone who has had experience with fad diets, exercise regimes etc and who wants to finally understand how to obtain true health and fitness.
As someone who has struggled with eating disorders and exercise addiction my entire life, Solving the Paleo Equation has opened my eyes to the damage I have been doing to my body, and explains how to change my ways to achieve great health. It was a huge wake up call to realise that many of the practices I have been engaging in over the years in pursuit of elite fitness and/or body composition are actually NOT synonymous with good health - quite the opposite in fact!
The book covers a broad range of topics including stress, diet, exercise and environment, which are all connected to good health, and lays out sustainable and achievable ways in which to implement new habits to improve all aspects of ones health and wellbeing.
The reasoning and science behind the practices advised in the book is explained in a way which is easy to understand, and there is humour throughout the book, as well as real life personal experiences from the authors.
In short, this book has changed my perspective on health, fitness and wellness, and in effect has changed my life for the better.
I liked the fact that I could relate to so much of the content - and I know for a FACT that there are millions of others out there who are making exactly the same mistakes, which have been identified and addressed in this book.
Honestly, I can't say. All were equally good, and need to be implemented together to get the most out of the book. I wasn't as bothered about the section on EMFs etc, although I did find it eye-opening.
The section on exercise addiction, and the damage that exercise can inflict on ones body.
Listen to the book. It's one of the best things you could do for your health!
