Publisher's Summary

Movement is medicine
Letting your mind wander as you take a long walk, a slow jog, or a brisk run can give you a powerful, uplifting feeling. Some call it a runner's high, others attribute it to endorphins. In this interactive audiobook, psychotherapist William Pullen teaches you how to channel that exhilarating energy and use it to make positive change in your life.
This radical new approach to obtaining the benefits of mindfulness originates in the body itself. Using a combination of mindfulness, focused questions, and exercise, dynamic running therapy (DRT) has proven to be a simple, intuitive, effective, and therapeutic method for managing stress, trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, and other conditions.
With carefully tailored thought exercises to be implemented while on a run or walk, DRT brings the mind into perfect harmony with the body through the healing experience of mindful running.

You need this!

This incredible book combines two of the most natural and effective healing tools available to us: movement and mindfulness. Using the fundamentals of movement and intentional attention William Pullen gives us a running start toward the peaceful place of integration by providing a detailed framework that encourages another well known, but underutilized natural healing device: relationship. The book provides ways to use relationship with an intentional running partner as a way to facilitate, and encourage emotional growth and healing from the most common and vexing problems we humans experience! The way he guides us to be good listeners and effective communicators is of immeasurable value to me. I got my community library to purchase several copies and I can't stop listening on Audible. I purchased a friend the hard copy, and I'll keep recommending it to everyone!!
