Amazing Information for Getting Strong

Very solid information and plenty of it. Worth the money, no doubt. I would recommend relistening to the audio book so that you can actually absorb all the information.

Great fitness book and program.

I just started this program and it's wonderful. As the book says it's scalable and it works for me and younger people. The narration is wonderful.

Content is useful but too long for what it wants to transmit

It's a good buy, the workout is solid.

Content is useful but takes too long to get to the point, it could be summarized in 15min.

The review is highly personal, I really don't care much about the motivational psychology and narrative the author fills the blanks with, however the spin he puts on the narrative performance with the accent and bravado is hilarious and entertaining.

Results delivering russian training program

I have dovoted my life, to the moment, to Pavel Tsatsouline training programs.
The results are amazing. Pavel has found the way to translate science into very simple (but not easy) training programs.

I will always recommend to start from "Naked Warrior", his book on bodyweight. His programs always focus on 2 main exercises, delivering when combined full body strength, power, muscle mass, flexibility and fat loss. One pull and one pull (with their variations).
There is almost no mental effort spent on the programming part, from our side, so all the energy can go to the training.

This is definetely not one more trainig program book.
What ultimately differentiates Strongfirst from other schools of strength is their philosophy.
Strengh is seen as a skill (from the neurological point of view), that anyone can learn and perfect. It's not limited by genetics.
In their quest for long lasting results, they concentrate on the pursuit of strenght, the skill that improves all others. They also look at every session as a practice, prohibiting therefore failing reps ("we're training for success").
The main focus will all the time be put on the perfect technique: quality over quantity. Feeling during and after the session more energized and stronger than when started, and ready to atack it the following day.

It's mandatory to previously get the physical or kindle copy, with accompanying technique pictures, graphs...
The audio version is read by the deep voice of the russian author, immersing the listener into his world.

Given the sometimes overwhelming Strongfirst focus on technique, it was awesome to have the opportunity to re-listen to the book, and bookmark the main points to focus on, diring my following training session.
I also succesfully used the audio, to get motivated right before my training practices.
