Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author and one of the most renowned meditation teachers in our time, Ilchi Lee challenges you to radically rethink your ideas on aging, health, personal fulfillment, and what's possible in your lifetime.

This highly anticipated book has been already loved by many big name authors including Don Miguel Ruiz, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Michael Beckwith, and Dr. Emeran Mayer. This is the book of life mastery for the brave hearted.

For most of our lives, we work hard, reaching for success, until we are faced with retirement. If you retire at age 65, you may think you have about 20 more years to relax and enjoy your life. But what if you had more time? What if you had another 40 or 50 years to live? Would it make a difference in how you lived?

Ilchi Lee stresses that you can extend your life way beyond what most of us have accepted as our biological age limit, even up to 120 years. But the real question is, can we have not only a long life, but also a fulfilling one? Lee's answer is a resounding yes, and it starts with the power of choice, a practice of self-reliance, and most importantly, a greater sense of purpose.

A visionary and master teacher who globalized ancient Korea's mind-body tradition, Ilchi Lee lays out a clear path to a new paradigm of longevity and mastery of life. Through personal experience, compelling stories, the wisdom of an ancient Korean holistic practice, and current research on longevity and fulfillment, Lee shows listeners how to live fully at any age without regrets.

The inspiration and practical advice you find in this audiobook propels you to make the necessary changes in your life that would make a 120-year life full of vitality, passion, and purpose possible.

Powerful

Very insightful ideas and ideals for life overall! Powerful concepts and truths for planning “the second half of life” as the author describes. I am already viewing and imagining my 120 year journey- now at 48. I was amazed and excited about how many of the practices the author reviewed, that I have been doing/following for the past few years already.
A must read and listen early in our lives to prep for the next 50+ years!

Inspiring book at any age.

I’ve decided to live 120 years is a book about what it means to live your life for something greater than just your own personal fulfillment. We all reach a point where the success driven narrative of our society fails our inherent desire to feel fulfilled. It happened to me when I was 27, and even though I had everything I needed in my life, I felt an emptiness I couldn’t fill with family, friends, or school, or work. This book is one of many that helped me realize the value of my life beyond the desires for partnership, family, a good job, etc. I learned about my desire for “Hong Ik,” my desire to widely benefit others, including my family, my community, and the earth.

If we had no other choice.

As I listened to this wonderfully narrated audio book, "I've decided to live 120 years", I had one question. What would I have to do if there was no other option but to live to be 120. The context and messages from the author presented a map of sorts for creating a more fulfilling and enriched life no matter what the age a person. I would recommend this for anyone either seeking a deeper existence with the true purpose of life as a guide or just experiencing how to live life well.

This is not your typical anti-aging guide.

I found the insights in this book so positive, uplifting and inspiring. When I first heard about the title, I thought not me! But with listening to this book, I'm inspired to keep going for a very long time. Indeed, this book changed my outlook on life. It helped me rediscover the importance of self care and having a purpose in life. Ilchi Lee outlines a plan on how you can create a life you truly want and how to live it. I found this book practical and deeply inspiring at the same time. It’s a book that should also resonate with younger readers and not just older adults.
