Luckily this was pretty short to listen to. The very beginning was the most helpful for me talking about source of motivation external and internal etc. After that it kind of went downhill. There was a lot of information that's pretty obvious like trying to get a support system and overcoming bad weather we're having an indoor sport, and also a lot of relatively useless information about muscle soreness. For me the best Takeaway was to find an activity that I enjoy and look forward to, rather than relying on my wish to lose some weight as sole motivation.

This book could be useful if you're wealthy. It's value is limited if you are struggling to make ends meet because the author assumes it's not a huge burden to do things like hire house cleaners, and spend multiple hours working out each weekend. This probably works for the primary audience, but it is so out of touch with many people's lives that I found it off-putting.
