Worst Narration Ever Heard

Would you try another book from Beth Baker and/or Nicole Bolster?

Not from Nicole Bolster. The narration is halting and awkward and lacks smooth inflection, prosody, and fluency, as if the reader just learned to read English last week or did not rehearse the reading before recording it or both. It is the worst oral reading I have ever heard, and I have taught reading to primary school students (grades 2 and 3).Is English in a list of this woman's first 10 languages?

What other book might you compare Holiday Brunch Breakfast: 30 Recipes Book to and why?

There is no other book I have listened to in which the narration was so cacophonous, aggravating, and irritating that it totally negated any possibility of comparison with anything but long fingernails scraping down a slate blackboard.

How could the performance have been better?

It should have been done by any other narrator than Nicole Bolster.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The recipes were all right, but the narration was so annoying that any excellence in or attraction to the recipes was completely obscured and obliterated.

Any additional comments?

Did anyone actually listen to this audiobook before foisting it on the public's ears and having the gall to charge for it? If it were possible to give "minus" stars, this narration would have been minus 10.
