I'm a new person.
I'll never see my weight the same way again. I let this book sit on the Shelf for over a year. I sure wish I had not done that. I will honestly never be the same. I can now leave the shackles of diet behind and start treating my body with respect. Eating more vegetables and fruits exercising more and throwing that damn scale out the f****** window. I've wasted too much time . I plan to actually live the rest of my life. This was a great 40th birthday gift.

Every woman should read this book
The idea that weight causes a whole host of health related problems is so engrained in our belief as a society that it's almost unimaginable to believe it may not actually be true at all. Linda Bacon provides a compelling argument for us all to embrace the Health at Every Size movement and start loving our bodies as they are rather than fight against them day in and day out. Once we give up the fight we might find that we settle into a far more comfortable place both physically and mentally. This really is a must read if we want to start changing our culture's perception of body weight and health.
