Great book to help anyone get in better shape

Yes, I would and I definitely will.

Have you listened to any of Cheryl L. Ilov’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was the first time I have listened to her but I was very happy with the book and the narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book has given me an extra push to get into better shape, both physically and mentally. It is very practical and there are many things that most anyone can easily do. I started getting bored with the first few chapters but I was glad I continued to listen.

Hang in there!

The book starts with reminiscences from the author’s life- The opening was a little too long and just when I was about to skip it to get to the meat of the book, she mentioned how doing certain things helped her with back and joint pain, inflamation, etc. So I was glad that I listened to the entire foreword.

The author did a great job narrating her own book. I think it makes the listening a little bit more interesting, since she is talking about her own experiences.

Extraordinary pathway to a healther self

I was so glad that I was chosen to review this book. I found everything Cheryl said to ring true to the way I believe and live my life. The book is a nice combination of Cheryl's insight and personal life and great exercise style too. I have recommended this book to many friends since reading it. A book to rethink our habits

Would you listen to Forever Fit and Flexible again? Why?

Maybe, the book is good and the exercises in it must be listen more than once to get the full picture and try to do it correctly.

What did you like best about this story?

It is simple, direct and talks about many issues a lot of us have when we are getting older. Altough it's a personal story, it's to get the main ideas of the book and apply it in your personal life.

Which character – as performed by Cheryl L. Ilov – was your favorite?

She just perfomed herself, so not a lot to choose over here. But her perfomance was quite good, with a good reading speed and no mistakes that I have noticed, I would give herself an A+ in that!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, more of a book to think, with some laughs on a few bits of it.

Long introduction

I got this ARC via audio book boom. If I was not voluntarily reviewing this book I would have stopped listening after the introduction. You don't really get anything important until an hour and a half into the book. Then you have to listen another thirty or forty minutes to get to another good point. I did go find some sessions on youtube to see how to do some of the techniques described. This was not to my liking. But there were some good points it just took too long to get to them and they were mixed in with the other dialogue.

Practical guide for men or women of any age.

Even though the title of this book suggests a demographic of an older readership of those 50 and older, I maintain that anyone, even teenagers, can benefit from the advice this book offers.

The author, who also did an amazing job with her narration, offers practical tips on awareness, lifestyle changes, nutrition (note: she is not about "dieting"), and her bottom line, which I love, is far more about feeling good than being a certain weight or size. I have always had this belief as well.

Cheryl tells her own story in a lengthy but fascinating forward in which she shares her lifelong adolescence of downright scrawniness to the point that people thought her Mother didn't have enough money to feed her. But then hormones and life came along and she was forced to figure out how to come with weight gain, arthritis, aging and pain management. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but if this author has any more offerings, I will happily buy them because she is a trustworthy source of knowledge for me after this read.

This book, crammed with great techniques, tips and advice is perfect for anyone who can spare 4 or 5 hours to listen and come away with a life-changing start to feeling better, looking great and doing it anytime, at any age.

Highly recommended.
