Publisher's summary

In the summer of 2015, broke and defeated after two years of failing at my first startup, I moved out of my Boston apartment and back home to Mom and Dad's. With the pressure of rent and food no longer plaguing me, I had time to reflect on the previous years from both a business and personal standpoint. Where did I go wrong? What could I have done better?

I decided to start reading and experimenting more with diet and exercise, maximizing productivity, improving my relationships, and bettering myself as a whole. I soon found out that one of those things (diet!) drastically impacted all the others.

Through trial and error, I learned that eating whole plant foods and avoiding meat, dairy, and processed foods had me feeling invincible. As I gradually made a transition to becoming vegan, my life started to change.

At the end of 2015, I sold the majority stake of my business to a venture capital firm in Singapore. I literally went from living and running my business in my parents' basement to selling it to an entity on the other side of the world. What's crazy is, I truly believe that adopting a whole food vegan diet was the catalyst for it all to happen.

Eat Green Make Green details entrepreneur Pat McAuley's life-changing experience with food and why he credits plants for his success. Pat explores the many benefits he experienced by adopting a vegan lifestyle and why you should too!

Bought this book for my husband and fell in love with myself!

I bought this book to help my husband with understanding Veganism. It talked about golf and be a little brief skit to preview the book and I thought well hell my husband will actually listen to this. I ended up listening to the book to filter through anything to have an exclamation as to why this wasn’t what it meant but I finished the book within four days and I can absolutely say this book has been amazing. It explains all the moving pieces of veganism so clearly and so plainly that it makes it very easy to understand even if you are not vegan or a new vegan like myself. I also just want to say I really appreciate that the author himself near writes the book and put his own emphasis on words to make you understand clearly. I find it very admire a bowl that he took the time to narrate the book himself. It puts a lot more emotion into it when I can actually hear who he is and listen to how his vegan lifestyle unfolded. Definitely worth it!! Thank you!

Plant based living

Good story of success of one individual making a transition into plant based eating. The only thing I didn’t like was that the author uses profanity often during the book. It was jarring to hear so often as I was sitting listening intently learning about how my life will be better by going plant based. I found it unnecessary and distracting.

Waste of time! Basic and not informative

Really sophomoric and no real motivation to adopt a plant based diet. Waste of time and money!
