Better Health and Aging

The subject matter was of interest to me, so I did find it enjoyable. I appreciated the additional information about the right foods for the different stages of life.

The narrator was easy to understand and had a cadence that made it pleasant to listen to. I am hard of hearing and could hear every word clearly, thanks to clear enunciation.

I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get themselves or their family on the right track nutritionally.

A Nice, Breezy Read!

What made the experience of listening to Better Health and Anti-Aging Through Supplements and Super Foods the most enjoyable?

Bill Robbins writes, and Clarke Hylton reads, in a style that brings the points across without "dumbing them down" too much. 50 minutes is a perfect amount of time to discuss the importance of superfoods without it sounding like a Readers' Digest Condensed Version.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the way Bill Robbins points out how relatively easy it is for any of us to improve our eating behaviors--and overall health--in all stages of life, from infancy to the golden years, and the benefits of doing so.

Which character – as performed by Clarke Hylton – was your favorite?

As Clarke was solely the narrator, I enjoyed his delivery, pacing and tone the best. He has a warm and friendly style that does not merely sound like someone reading copy from a script, and he handles the multisyllabic jaw-breaking terms with poise and professionalism. It is a believable style that didn't have me tuning out. You can feel his encouragement where it's appropriate, and almost see him winking and smiling in the more humorous passages.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, although unfortunately there were interruptions, like ringing phones and doorbells that prevented my sitting through the entire book in one shot.

Any additional comments?

I hope to hear Clarke Hylton in future audiobooks; he is a wonderful narrator.
