SyncSouls put together a methodical audio training for advanced person which optimally coaches the advanced formulas of the Autogenic Training step by step. In this audiobook organs and body parts such as the heart, the belly or the pleasant cooling of the forehead are addressed. This is the so called advanced level which is based on the basics of the Autogenic Training (see our audiobook "Autogenic Training 1") where the focus was to learn and practice the exercises for relaxation, breathing, heaviness and warmth. Using these basics you proceed in this advanced concentrative self-relaxation technique in three exercises so you can at last affectively apply the short formula. Take your time to learn and practice these exercises on a daily basis until you internalized the formulas. Be patient, no one is born a master.
The Autogenic Training (also known as concentrative self-relaxation) is a worldwide established relaxation technique. The method was developed by the German (Berlin) psychiatrist Johannes Schulz in the 20s of the 20th century. The own body perception is trained and improves. Suggestive techniques are used to get a relaxed muscular system and to get connected to it faster and more intense. With your own awareness, thus with your own suggestive (meaning self-influencing) forces you can induce your physical and mental relaxation.
With these auto suggestive formulas you are able to put your body and mind in a state of deep relaxation. This method of autosuggestion is not to be confused with hypnosis. You are fully conscious, you can control your thoughts by yourself at any moment and you can bring off deep relaxation consciously. The effect of the Autogenic Training for deep relaxation, stress management and also for a variety of psychosomatic disorders has been proven in numerous studies. Autogenic Training is used preemptively for promotion of health but also as an accompanying relaxation technique in psychotherapeutic treatment.
