At 24 minutes this is a short book, so necessarily the background information on the methodology and benefits of the diet are minimal. It is basically 25 green smoothie recipes. While some may prefer to have the recipes in print, as the multi-tasking queen, I prefer it in audio-book format. That way I was able to listen to it on the way to the grocery store, shop for ingredients and start the program right away. It is an effective program. I lost 5 lbs. in 5 days. I have been trying to permanently quit soda for many years. I quit for awhile and then start drinking it again because of cravings and caffeine withdrawal. During this detox I had neither cravings or headaches from caffeine withdrawal, and was able to stop soda painlessly. I feel great and have a lot more energy.
The narrator gives an excellent performance and makes it fun to listen to. I would appreciate more background information, but overall a good book. My favorite recipe from this week would be the Lettuce & Fruit and the Lettuce, Lime, and Strawberry smoothies. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

5 Day Green Smoothie Detox Plan by Lucy Johnson, narrated by Caroline McLaughlin
This book contains 25 simple and tasty recipes for smoothies. Good to have if you are in detox plan or implementing healthy habits. Only 24 minutes, but quiet useful and practical. Lots of recommendations. Healthy food is important. Caroline McLaughlin as narrator sounds really pleasant. Good tempo, tone, and speed. Liked how she works.
Nice book about detox plan or healthy lifestyle ideas.
