Publisher's summary

Zombie Cheerleaders is a collection of three nightmarishly devious stories...

The Limits of Pain: Tom wandered the streets around midnight, looking for his next fix. His addiction had taken him to some pretty dark places already, but nothing could have prepared him for Anna. A little old lady with a very big secret.

The Pleasure of Flesh: Two loner college students have discovered the answer to all of their prayers - an entire sorority filled with cheerleaders who are willing to do anything! They'll soon learn that unlimited pleasure comes with a terrible price...

Don't Open the Well: We all have to die sometime. But what happens when the people we trust to take care of our remains can't be trusted at all? Growing up with an alcoholic father, Michael is forced spend his summers as a young boy working away in the family-owned crematorium. This was no place for children, any sane person would have been able to see that.

Nightmare, indeed.

Would you consider the audio edition of Zombie Cheerleaders: And Other Nightmares to be better than the print version?

Lived up to the title...nighmareish

What other book might you compare Zombie Cheerleaders: And Other Nightmares to and why?

Stephen King stuff

Have you listened to any of Jim Roberts’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes...he's very good.

If you could take any character from Zombie Cheerleaders: And Other Nightmares out to dinner, who would it be and why?

No....would not want to take any of them out to dinner!

Any additional comments?

If you like really graphic horror, this is quite good. Well read, too

Waste of money

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If the narrator had read the stories with any interest, I might have been able to grasp the quality of the stories themselves. But the reading was tedious, which made the stories seem tedious.

Would you recommend Zombie Cheerleaders: And Other Nightmares to your friends? Why or why not?

No. Nothing gripping or entertaining about them.

How could the performance have been better?

A narrator could have been used who was actually into the stories!
