Publisher's summary

"Matthew's dead."

News no parent wants to hear, but that's exactly what Daniel and Aimee Osborne must endure.

On their way home to the Yellowstone country after spending two years at University, brothers Matthew and Zach Osborne are looking forward to a happy homecoming and family reunion. The long trip takes an unexpected turn when their path crosses with a group of travelers who shouldn't be venturing through dangerous Indian Territory.

Adelle Witmer's journey west has brought her face to face with things she could never anticipate. Under her father's stern and protective eye, she is not allowed to waiver from her strict upbringing. When two rugged woodsmen join their camp, she learns of a world beyond her wildest dreams.

Neither one of the Osborne twins could have foreseen the turn of events their decision to accompany the group of missionaries would take. Matthew's unlikely attraction to Adelle not only puts him at odds with her father, but may very well cost him his life.

Yellowstone Homecoming

I absolutely loved Yellowstone Homecoming! Adelle was brilliant! When she sacrificed herself to save the lives of her travelling companions, I sighed because that plot has been done so often. Then when Adelle not only rescued herself but also Matthew, who was injured on his way to rescue her, I was literally bouncing in my seat!! I loved that although she didn't have a clue what she was doing and was scared, she was still brave enough and strong enough to do her best. It was easy to see how she won Matthew's heart. These two were very well matched. I know that I say this after reading each of Peggy's books but this was my favorite so far!

Size of a Novella, Feeling of a Novel!

Would you listen to Yellowstone Homecoming again? Why?

I would listen to this story again and again becuase Peggy makes you care for the characters as if they were friends of yours.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Yellowstone Homecoming?

The reconciliation between Adelle and her father.

What about Cody Roberts’s performance did you like?

Cody has a great voice and plays the characters well and is believable without making the female character sound fake or strange.

If you could rename Yellowstone Homecoming, what would you call it?

Yellowstone Courage, becuase both Matthew and Adelle had to dig deep within themselves to face their own personal challenges as they come together as a couple.

Any additional comments?

Many times a novella from solid series can be too either short or have a disappointing plot. Peggy DOES NOT disappoint! The characters and plot are just as strong as her full length novels. Great job Peggy! Cannot wait to see what new adventures the Osbornes and Russells have in the future, or maybe the past! ;)

A Wonderful Novella To The Yellowstone Series!

What did you love best about Yellowstone Homecoming?

This newest audio book has all the excitement, light humor, teary eyed moments, and romance that I expect from this author, along with the family values that are always there. As always, she picked the right narrator, Cody Roberts, for this audio book. This is not the first time I've listened to him narrating a book and when I know he's the narrator, I know I am in for an wonderful experience.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this audio book about a grown up Matthew Osborne. I liked the man he has become, so much like his father Daniel, in his thoughts and ways. Listening to the audio book about him and his twin brother Zach as grown men, was very special, especially after listening about them as children in the audio book, A Yellowstone Christmas. I liked the heroine, Adelle. Quiet on the outside but ready to let the feisty, adventurous and independent person out when she meets up with Matthew.
I love everything this author writes, The books and audio books always pull you in from the beginning and I always get teary eyed when they are finished. Listening to Cody Roberts (one of my favorite narrators) narrating this audio book, makes the experience so much more pleasing as though I were there. I love listening to his voice, so believable with all the characters. This is a wonderful addition to The Yellowstone Romance Series Audio Books and one I will listen to again. JudyE

Enjoyed This so Much

I have read the entire Yellowstone series along with the Teon series and loved every word of it. Have begun listeninng to the audio version now.
This audio did not disappoint. The narrator does such an excellent job of reading the story-indivulaizes the characters with emotion. I was listening to the audio on my computer when a friend walked in-stood there for a few minutes, and then said wow I almost started crying and I don't even know what this story is about-he is really that good.
I love all of Peggy's stories and enjoy reading and now hearing them so much

Love Love Love!

I read this book a couple years ago and never wrote a review, so thought I'd listen again to remind myself why I love this Yellowstone Romance Series so very much! I love the writing, the adventures this story takes us on, and the love of the Osborne family as well as the other characters. I especially love hearing Cody Roberts tell me stories! Wishing all future Peggy L Henderson books could be on audible!!

Just what you need

While reading the Yellowstone series, you may wonder what happened to Matthew. We learn Dan Osborne has a connection with him when he travels to the past to save the baby from being killed. So we can assume Matthew had a wife and children. But why did he disappear from Yellowstone?
Well now we know!

This book is short, but is loaded with content for a complete story.

Cody Roberts is amazing once again and does the voices perfectly! I looked up his picture and he even fits the part!
