DAN TO THE RESCUE!!!

What made the experience of listening to Wormwood Dawn: Episode IV the most enjoyable?

it was well narrated and a good story!!

What other book might you compare Wormwood Dawn: Episode IV to and why?

Its zomfic, there are tons out there..but this is a really fun series to listen too!

Have you listened to any of Clifford Edwards’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Well its back to just Dan and Drew again....but it came about the hard way! When Dan wakes up, he is being held hostage by R, who has mutated even more and still up to his serial killer tricks...he is basically studying Dan, and making him fight arena style almost to survive..he makes sure he keeps him high and addicted so he will do what he wants...well Dan is used to being high, so he still finds away to escape and find his friends..but in the process loses 2 of his group!

Cant wait for the next one!! I like this series!!!

Brilliant!

This little serial just keeps getting better!! In this edition, poor Dan wakes up bound. When it dawns on him that he is trapped by the absolutely insane serial killer that has been stalking him, he is terrified. The "gamemaster" has plans for Dan which are worse than Dan can imagine. Can he escape?

I'm not going into the plot because since this is episode 4, I will spoil something, so all I'll say is, wow! This one was so dark, scary and intense, I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through and had to listen to it in one sitting. I was on edge waiting to see what happens to Dan!! This author really knows how to pack a punch in such a short span of time.

Apart from loving the story, Clifford Edwards was amazing! He is Dan and I couldn't picture anyone else reading these. He was so so creepy as the killer and really brought this book to life.

If you haven't done so, get book 1 now! :)

This series just gets better and better with each installment! The third episode ended with a huge cliff hanger, so I was eager to find out what happend. This book was so exciting, and the action didn't stop the whole way through. I was so surprised by the twists, and didn't see things happening the way they did. One of my favorite things about this series is the characters. I absolutely love that these guys are not even close to being perfect. They drink a lot, and have a slight addiction to pain meds. They make mistakes, and all those things make these guys feel more real to me. Clifford Edwards is the narrator of the audiobook, and he is perfect! I can't see anyone else's voice being any better for this. He does a variety of voices in these books, and they are all great. I'm so in love with this series, and I hope to see many more episodes. If you haven't already gotten into this series, I suggest doing it right now! I can not wait to see where the story takes us next!

Holy smokes - This episode is scary & intense 5⭐️

This audiobook is the fourth episode in the Wormwood Dawn Apocalyptic Serial. The first three books were so riveting and so terrifying that I just had to listen to Book Four.

Once again Edward Crae's twisted imagination has created a riveting audiobook that will scare the pants off of it's listeners.

Imagine struggling to survive in a world that has been basically destroyed and is now populated by mutated people and animals, most of which would not hesitate to kill and eat you on sight. Sounds horrific, right?

Ok. Now add in the fact that a depraved serial killer skinned a friend of yours alive and according to his journal, you are his next intended victim. I know I would be freaking out, that's for sure.

At the end of episode three Dan is taken captive by the serial killer and the others are captured by the mercenaries. Basically, they are all in BIG trouble.

This episode (Book 4) of WORMWOOD DAWN begins with Dan awakening to find that he has survived the mercenary attack, only to be abducted by the crazy serial killer.

Dan needs to find a way to escape before the killer decides to follow up on his threat.

If he does escape, his next goal will be to find the rest of his small group of survivors.

This audiobook is INTENSE and is not for the faint of heart. There are some seriously disturbing scenes and ideas which make this audiobook acceptable only for listeners ages 18 and up.

I LOVED IT! I am definitely a fan and I can't wait for the next episode to be released.

I rate this audiobook as 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Edge of Your Seat Thriller Not to be Missed

EPISODE IV of WORMWOOD DAWN starts out intense and never lets up. A must listen. Dan is awakened by his father in a dream only to find himself being held captive in a basement, the victim of a sick game being played by Robert or 'R'. His time is running out and in between the fog of being drugged and trying to think of a plan, he's joined by another prisoner Mike. Together they find a way out. After escaping, Dan finds where Doug and Vincent are being held and frees them as well as a new guy named Gabe who decides to join Dan.

This is a fantastic apocalyptic world built by EDWARD CRAE with amazing characters who could be anyone we know. They're realistic, likeable, flawed people navigating the world in which they've inherited.

CLIFFORD EDWARDS is one heck of an awesome narrator. This book in particular shows exactly what a skilled reader and vocal actor he is. His work is incredibly good. Dan's character is my favorite of coarse but the way CE does the evil voice of Robert is flipping over the top, hair raising WOW!

I'm already gripping for the next installment of this book. It's that good. Highly recommended.

edge -of -the -seat terror

The plot develops.Dan goes through Hell at the hands of a monster but, after a series of terrifying torments he,of course ,emerges on the other side and carries on to avenge his friends and make a decent attempt to save the World. Dan's character matures in this book and he is beginning to show qualities of real leadership. The book ends with less of a nail-biting cliff-hanger but you just know there is a lot more in store for Dan and Drew. Once again the narration by Clifford Edwards was excellent. I think he was even better in this episode. He put in some interesting special effects such as an ethereal dream -like effect and an echo effect as the monster serial-killer cackles at him. This episode did not disappoint and I hope this write-narrator team continues with this series. I cannot wait

One GREAT Series

I love this post-apocalyptic series. This was a little different than the last 3, was very dark and creepy but great just the same. I love when Dan and Drew are together they are crazy fun, upset with Jake and Vincent. Clifford Edwards does great job with the characters you automatically know who is talking. I don’t know how many is in the series but never want them to stop! Author Edward Crae is one insane writer. This audiobook was provided by the narrator and THANK YOU!! Keep them coming!

The end of the world wasn't enough...

The end of the world wasn't enough... now he's trapped and the games have just begun

4.5 out of 5 stars

Dan, our unlikely hero awakens to find himself trapped. Yes, the world has gone crazy -- but where he awakens is even worse. Forced to "play games" by the "game master" he is subject to more and more horrible things. He must escape -- he must save his friends from Gephardt.

The narration for episode IV was done by Clifford Edwards. The quality of this was perfect, and the effects that Edwards uses (such as inside voice) and the voice of the captor are great. Edwards performance really adds to this already awesome story.

The story starts off dark, and I mean really dark. I was a little worried that the story wouldn't turn hopeful at all and I would be depressed by the time I finished it. Without spoiling anything, I was glad that the story did take an eventual turn.

Crae has this was of writing - it's visceral and real and it really makes the reader feel like they are right there with Dan as he struggles his way through different situations.

The story, overall started off a bit different but ended up similarly than the other episodes. I did feel like this had more of an "ending," but just because the arc of the story was complete and Dan and company were ready to continue fighting.

I will be eagerly awaiting the next episode that Crae & Edwards team up on. The duo of writing and performance has me coming back for more -- similar to the never-ending hunger of the shamblers.
