Pretty good
I thought the last three books- God Hammer, Rogues, and Snake Eyes were the best books of the series, so far. Winterfall was not quite as good, but I think Mr. Conroe was using this book to set up the conflict in future books, which might explain why it wasn't quite up to the high standards of the previous books.
If I had one suggestion, it would be that Mr. Conroe work on making more sympathetic elves. I know Neve was initially set up as being possibly a good guy, as opposed to her cousin, and in Black Frost, it appeared that she might be interested in the protagonist, but by the end of Winterfall, I was hoping that Stacy or one of the others would successfully shoot her.

Almost Perfect
In addition to Chris' and Mac's points of view, would like also to have had Declan's to experience his side of this initial trip to Fairie.

felt like a filler book
Nothing game changing. We got to see fairy in more detail and a new enemy however I was hoping to find out more about the elders, especially elder sal.
Hopefully next book?
Great performance from James as per usual.

Loved it
I love this series, and I like declan but I started with Chris so I prefer his POV more so I like the earlier books more than this one. I liked how John is mixing different genre into this series and so far its great. I hope the next book is soon and longer.

Well worth it!
This whole series was a absolute pleasure to listen to. Do it in the right sequence though. The presenter also did a great job. Well done!
