short story gone wild
Young people looking for love, over-protective mothers, animal protection, politics: What was this book about? I expected a fun story with some romance and maybe - because of the author being British - some black humour. Well, this is what I did not get.
It was boring, puffed-up with not a single likeable character. I finished it but was relieved when it was over. The narration was not good, way to overdone and the production could have been edited better.

Wild Weekend
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone. It is a fast paced, amusing story following a young successful City Banker who opts to start again as a farmer and an equally successful city girl who decides to spend a weekend with her mother in the Country - the story develops into a compelling tale of City meets country charting the relationship many of us have with our careers at the sacrifice of having a life.
