Publisher's summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz “pulls out all the stops” (Publishers Weekly) in this haunting psychological thriller...

For thirty-five years, Bruno Frye has lived in the shadow of the adopted mother who made his heart beat with constant fear. And even though she died five years ago, the whispers still haunt him in the dark...enough to make him kill - and kill again.

Hilary Thomas is one of his intended victims. And she’s about to learn that even death can’t keep a bad man down...

A Little Creepy

What made the experience of listening to Whispers the most enjoyable?

Which is what you are hoping for when you select this author. Took some winding turns that were unexpected and added to the listening.

LOVE Dean Koontz

Love Dean Koontz. Definitely not his best. Took a while to get into it but it was a good read after all. I probably read about 70-80 Koontz books. This one ranks amongst the 5 I liked least.

Vintage Knootz

Obivious this is one of Knootz's earlier works it is Knootz at his best. The concept of two people being one is taken to a new level. Fry is an outstanding villian and as the story unfold we like him, feel sorry for him, understand him and pity him. The weaving of action in the plot divides explanation and action admirably , What fun!
