This is another amazing book by Ms. Grace. Michael was a lost soul. Originally from a conservative "Christian*" family, Michael is a bit broken and messed up from growing up in an at best misguided and at worst an abusive Pseudo-Christian home. He makes a remarkable journey of inward healing and a physical trek from his, home in Arizona. He discovers a good circle of friends where he is helped. He eventually discovers love and wholeness in the arms of Sebastian. This is truly a heartwarming novel.
* I've put the word,Christian in quotation marks because religions that exclude and teach hate are in my opinion unauthentic. Religion should be inclusive rather than exclusive.
I felt like I had ordered a pair of pants from a catalog and when they arrived they were made out of gauze.
Would you consider the audio edition of When I'm Lost to be better than the print version?
For me the audiobook is better than the print because it brings the more characters to life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Has to be Mike, his character changes from one I didn't trust in the previous book to one I want to have his happy ever after with Seb.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The opening of the book where Michael apologies to Jamie.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but life and circumstances don't give me the time.
