Best story in METAtropolis

Of course, a few of them were drivel, but this story was outstanding, even on its own. Liked it so much I bought the stand alone version.

Great short story by Scalzi

I have to admit, it took me 5 tries to get past the first 5 minutes. My brain just wasn’t in the right frame of mind for the start of this story. But once I settled in, it became evident that it was another great short story by Scalzi. I love the world building intermixed with the social and ethical issues that we face today. Now I need to find the whole book to see how this fits in. Had a Margaret Atwood vibe that I enjoyed.

Pigs, Who'da Thought?

Humor, imaginatively created society. Dystopian political structure without being a downer. The good stuff of sci-fi.
And pig poop.

Nice short story

This is a good story and I’m by the fact there will be no more stories in this series!

Excellent Short Novel

I am a big fan of John Scalzi and this inventive tale did not disappoint. The narrator did a great job with the voices and the attitudes - I will look for other works he has narrated. Truly a fun listen.

I want more stories like this

What a great short story. Clever, funny at times, just a great story. Can’t describe much without giving it away , but t the main character had some interesting, meaningful experiences.

A quick little Scalzi tale would love more from new st Louis. Benji didn’t disappoint the plot twist wasn’t a surprise but the outcome definitely was .
