Publisher's Summary

"Fear the living, fear the dead, fear the Unspeakable."
Kenning Hall was more than a country home, it was the family's sanctuary away from the frenetic pace of London, until that day.
What happened that day was so horrifying, so devastating, that the place was left to ruin, until now.
A decade later, 32-year-old Rupert Harrison, the only surviving heir to the Harrison publishing dynasty, has ordered Kenning Hall restored to its former glory.
It's time to go back.
Now, if you think you've heard this story before, think again. This is just the beginning.
Something is waiting at Kenning Hall. Something vengeful, malevolent, and it will follow him home.
This book isn't creepy, it's downright terrifying. Be warned: Daylight will not save you.

Not really what I was expecting.. .

Struggled to finish, had a lot more romantic scenes than I am accustomed to reading in a horror novel. Really couldn't get into the story and had to jump ship fairly early in the book. If your looking for some serious erotica mixed in with your ghost story, this maybe perfect for you. Nevertheless, l just wasn't feeling this one. 2 **'s

Nope...not for me.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I can't give an answer to that. The people that wrote all the glowing reviews really liked the book. However, I tend to agree with the people that wrote the negative reviews.

What was most disappointing about Tony Marturano’s story?

I'm looking for a supernatural story line here and I'm listening to rough shower sex.

What didn’t you like about Matt Addis’s performance?

First time listening to Matt Addis. Given the number of people involved in this story he did well. I would listen to another book with this person as a narrator.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Any additional comments?

I will be returning this book right after I finish my coffee. Thank goodness Audible has a no questions asked policy and lets you return books you don't really care for.
