Publisher's summary

When Sloan Cartwright awakens in an African hospital with no memory, she is astounded to find three beautiful women claiming to be her wife. An attempt on her life makes her realize that her biggest problem is not which woman is her wife, but who wants to kill her and why. She discovers that she holds secrets that will topple governments and bring down illegal poachers in Africa. The only problem is that Sloan can’t remember where she hid the evidence. Sloan quickly realizes that she must trust one of the women to help her escape Africa.

Which one will it be? Wife number one: Amarosia (Amy) Cartwright, a beautiful Halle Berry look-a-like who tells Sloan that they have been married for five years and make their home in Africa. Wife number two: Leigh Redding Cartwright, blonde, wholesome, girl-next-door beauty who obviously adores Sloan and claims they have been married for seven years and live in New York. Wife number three: Alexandra Roland Cartwright, gorgeous international business mogul who has flown into Africa to take her wife home with her. Sloan isn’t sure it is her the women want or the evidence she has hidden.

You will laugh and cheer for Sloan as she juggles the three beauties while trying to stay alive and escape from a country where everyone wants her dead.

Sooo...I have definite opinions.

Beware spoilers: The beginning of this story felt like a set up to a certain series of surprise twists that would have been fun, if predictable. The throw off was how no one seemed upset or jealous or even super invested in the situation. The three wives just showed up, made claims then resumed the holding pattern. There was no jockeying for attention or attempts at swaying the Mc to one side or another.
In all honesty I was hoping that the ex would have turned out to be even a part of the big twist to add a bit of spice but as it was the path was incredibly straight. the way the "big twist" at the end actually turned out made the beginning make no sense. I mean if two of the "wives" were in the know then why would they keep up the show and if the guy was in on it then why we're they telling stories that put the others in doubt. makes no sense.
And finally. it is disturbing how quick the Mc is to kill everyone. there was no reason to kill all three of the biker guys. they were just blustering, she had no way of knowing they were rapists. and yet she just does it and laughs. in fact nearly all the times she kills is kind of senseless. and with a bull whip really? and when does the wife start to "question who she really is" because of how violent she is? the one time she doesn't kill any one.... the only time.

Love a woman who can kick ass!

Ok. A lot happened in this audiobook. Sloane wakes up in a hospital in Africa, with no memory, and not only are 3 women saying Sloane is their wife, but everybody wants her dead. There is plenty of action and globetrotting as Sloane runs for her life, trying to figure who she can trust. Now, I dont want to give anything away, because there are some twists along the way, but I have to say that through the majority of the book I was waiting for Sloane to find out something horrible about her actual wife. Great writing to make us doubt the Mrs. when by the very end (at 2am because I really wanted to finish the adventure and know the whole truth) I was thinking they were a good match. I smiled at the ending. it was nice that the book had a nice, complete ending-not one of those sudden ending books where you think the author just hit their word goal and decides The End. Sloane was an awesome character (no wonder her wife couldn't keep her hands off her). I really did enjoy this audiobook a lot. Nicely done!

don't... just don't.

I couldn't get past a few chapters. performance seemed computerized. I don't know how it ends, and I'm ok with that

The story overall is new and refreshing but not believable

The story overall is new and refreshing but not believable. Many things are way over the top. The main characters are somewhat likable. I didn’t like the narrator but she’s better than some narrators I have heard.

Indiana Jones style adventure.

I enjoyed the adventure. Sex could had been "spiced-up" a bit. Narration was annoying and distracting at times, with the word pronunciation.

A must listen!

Ms Wade is a prolific writer. Three Times as Deadly was the three times as thrilling. The story was fast paced and the main character reminded me of a female version of Indiana Jones and MacGyver all rolled into one. The ending will surprise you. Susan Marlow did an excellent job narrating. I hope to see these two main characters again.
