Could have left out book 2

I feel like the second book was just her wilder side come out. It really didn’t need the explicit sex scenes. I felt like they weee too over the top and her only excuse for writing the second book.

I didn't expect it to end like that

This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what was going to happen from one minute to the next and my predictions didn't always come true. After a while, I felt like I knew these characters and I truly didn't expect it to all come to an end the way it did. Great read.

Twists and turns

This book is a joy ride from start to finish. The story and the character development through out were excellent.

What???

I’ve read a lot of books and this one by far is the worse I’m sorry you lost me the first book was relatable and I enjoyed the journey it took us on but baby that second book was trash no content just erotica I have no clue of the plot what was the main character trying to accomplish it just wasn’t for me I needed more of the first book big disappointment 👎🏾👎🏾

I enjoyed the story of the 3 ladies but over was disjointed and lacked character development.

The 2 books had nothuto do with one another! The second book was plotless and just gratuitous sex!! Ending on both books sucked!

Confusing

This was extremely confusing. I had to listen multiple times to see how the stories connected. Finally I gave up. They don’t connect.

Had a lot of potential in the first half

It felt as if the story was unfinished and ended abruptly and way too soon. Felt like the ending could have def went further.

Them endings leave a lot to be desired!

I enjoyed both books! I just didn’t like the endings. The only thing good about the endings were the possibility of book 2 for both books! Book 2 was so erotic it distracted me from figuring out the storyline. Book 1 was so realistic because Ive watched people make decisions that alter their life’s trajectory like this ! People who use to have prominent positions at work or who date folks you just cant imagine them with! Or friends who have totally different lifestyles but who will link up and go to war for each other ! We not going to even talk about how street life moves … the game is set … they kept telling the truth about how it works ! Like I said 2 great books with endings that leave it open for more

1st book was good. 2nd book was more of an xxx filler

The 1st book was good. It seems like there may be another edition coming out, which I would listen to. The 2nd book had too many sex details. The very end of it was very good which made me want to keep listening. But…. It ended…!!
