Strong Convictions

After her testimony sent an innocent man to prison, law student Gina Blanchard vowed to spend her life righting that wrong. She passed up more prestigious opportunities to intern at a Tallahassee nonprofit dedicated to overturning wrongful convictions. But when she catches the eye of sexy green-eyed hunk Landon Vista, she realizes there’s room in her hardworking life for a little fun. Then she learns her newest case involves the man accused of murdering Landon’s mother…and possibly setting him free.

Stronger Passions

The people of Tallahassee still see Landon Vista as their golden boy and football hero…and as the man who tragically lost his mother. Yet Landon hides his emotional scars behind his handsome smile. While working for a senator who’s tough on crime, he finds himself keeping an eye on gorgeous redheaded Gina in more ways than one. But as their passion simmers, their secrets build…until Gina’s latest case collides with Landon’s heartbreaking past, threatening to tear them apart forever.

Do Right and The Heart Follows

Would you consider the audio edition of The Truth About Love to be better than the print version?

Yes, as I purchased due to reader, Ms Dawe.
I love her telling me an adventure, and I am one of her biggest fans.I do use 1.25x speed to match the author’s intent.
This is a story about 2 strong people who do the right thing, and their personal journey to justice and forefillment.
I buy so many new authors due to Ms Dawe reading them, that I can’t get to them all. This is a long over due story, I just got to listen. It’s been in my Audible Library 4 yrs.
My apologies to the author.

What did you like best about this story?

This is more of a core romance light mystery and was not listed correctly in Audible. Not sure if author or publisher wanted it that way, but since I am the first to review, what a waste due to the category. Note to Audible

Our heroine, is strong and keeps forging ahead to do the right thing. She is a ex-collegiate volleyball player and the opening is so clever.
Author writes in a style that makes you root for each character that is on stage and you feel good that justice or fairness prevails.
Our hero, and many scenes are from his perspective, is great! His southern charm is exuded at every turn. What a breath of fresh air. This is his story and conflict, hence maybe the misnomer on story category.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

If you a fan of Ms Dawe, then this book is for you.
As you know, her best feature is her male voices and once again gets to show case her talents in this book.
Her Scotch accents, Nora Roberts MacGregor series is FUN! Tiffany Snow series is my fave for romance.
She has hit the mystery category big time, so don’t miss her Marcia Clark series, Samantha Brinkman.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, now that I finally started the book. The Audible category was so misleading that I never started it! Shame on the publisher or decision maker.
