Carpathia’s enemies are seemingly right where he wants them, trapped at Petra with no way out. No one can survive his diabolical attack without some sort of a miracle. Ok but story predictable and SLOW.

Completely different from the rest of the series
This book just skipped through about 2 years of the Great Tribulation. This was completely different from the rest of the original series where sometimes you'd only make it through a month or 2 per novel. I was pretty disappointed in its description of the judgements too. It breezed through the fresh water turning to blood, the heat plague, and the darkness plagues as if they were just minor details. Very disappointed in the authors compared to the rest of the series. Hoping the last few books aren't as bad now that I'm this far into the series!
Yes, this was the first in this series that I through was really bad.
I think he does great with Rayford and Buck. Some of the female voices can be hard to listen to.
