This story starts off a little slow and complicated. But as the story progresses it all comes together and turns out to be an awesome story! I look forward to book 2!

Yet another YA novel that is not labelled as such
The story is good and well written for the target audience..
The narrator is a different story, His normal reading voice is quite good but his attempts at Scottish & English accents are cringe-worthy.
Overall, a stumbling start for a possibly great series.
I really struggled to finish this one. In fact, all I did after chapter 11 was skip through to the end. The story was weak and the narration was absolutely terrible. This guy Dikeos sounded like he was reading to four year olds with his nasally voice.
This reader (Gary Dikeos) has the worst and most irritating UK accents I have ever heard. The great shame is that he has a very pleasant natural soft American accent. His Scottish accents alternate between some sort of Olde English, cockney and goodness only knows what else. The book was spoiled by the narration.
