I want a Russian body guard!

This is incredible, it left me screaming at the end for more. Kresley Cole books is by far my favorite author, all her books continue to be intriguing and interesting and you will always want more.

Porn not steam - too bad

Would you listen to The Professional: Part 1 again? Why?

There was a great storyline to this book that was drowned out by pornographic sex scenes. Steamy scenes add and enhance a good romance book - but the writer took it way too far. I got the feeling she was trying to capitalize on the success of the Shades of Grey series - but as a reader I was prepared for what I got with those books. This was poorly disguised xxx rated novel being marketed as an engaging story.

This is a hot book!

I really love Kresley Cole books, but this series is awesome! I love her take on the BDSM genre.

Would have given it 5 Stars but I HATE CLIFFHANGER

One of the many reason's I adore Kresely is that she doesn't really do cliffhangers…..until now. Waiting a year for poison princess series is bad enough and now this? 4 hours is no way near long enough once you dive into a world of money and the mob that is lead by your newly found father. And then start a hot and heavy relationship with the untouchable body guard?……..Well all I can say is Please Hurry With the Next Book!

Really liking The Professional so far...

I really like how the book is starting .. now I just wish I didn't have to navigate buying the different parts separately and spending 3 times the money if listening to it through audible unlike how it's printed .. as 1 book and how it should be on audible too :(

fantastic narrator!!!

Wow. I really had no idea how Kresley Cole would go from her Immortals After Dark series to some contemporary/erotic/ suspense/romance. This is actually the first installment of a three part series. Natalie, the main character, has been searching for her biological parents for 6 years. When she starts to believe she has hit another dead end....Alexei Sevastyan (pronounced like Russian Sebastian) walks into her life suddenly. After a whirlwind night Natalie is on a plane to Russia to meet her very rich mafia father. Overall, I enjoyed the first installment in this series. Be prepared for the cliffhanger!! I’m interested to see what happens between Natalie &Sevastyan in the next book. The plot is different, characters are engaging, fast pace, just enough smexiness!!  I really did not expect to like this book as much as I did!

Ms. Cole...you TEASE!

Way to leave everyone hanging! Besides the abrupt end the book is fantastic. Natalie a 24 yr old grad student/ farm girl in Nebraska is adopted and searching for her biological parents. Her search has her roots coming from Russia. One night Natalie was out with her friends at a campus bar, when a dangerous mysterious man walks in that catches Natalie's eye and her life is forever changed by the stranger that knows Natalie's true identity. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife between the dangerous stranger Sebastian and Natalie, its a very cat and mouse alluring. The question is who is really the Hunter and who is really the prey?...just delicious!

AWESOME BOOK!

What made the experience of listening to The Professional: Part 1 the most enjoyable?

I loved this book. It is exceptional. couldn't get enough of it. I listened to it twice in a row. Can't wait for the next book. this is a very good series! The narrator was really awesome. She was sassy, Spunky, and played each character very well. I love the life she brought to this book!

What other book might you compare The Professional: Part 1 to and why?

I don't really know. I think it stands out on its own.

What about Kimberly Alexis’s performance did you like?

I loved the narrator. Best one yet! She did an awesome job with both books. She really brought the book to life. made me like it even more. I read the book first, then listened to her and I have a bit of a different take on the characters. She is the best.

If you could rename The Professional: Part 1, what would you call it?

I like the current name.
