Publisher's summary

Disaya Morgan, a character first introduced in Girls from Da Hood 4, returns in this gritty tale of a money-hungry woman who finds her life spinning out of control.

When Disaya meets Indie and falls hopelessly in love, she is determined to keep her lifestyle a secret - but everything done in the dark eventually comes to light. When she loses control of her own hustle, things go horribly wrong, and she learns the hard way that, in the game she’s playing, there are no winners.

You got my attention Mz Ashley!

Let me just say this book had me at the edge of my seat.  I was like OMG what’s going to happen next? Can it get any worse or is everything going to work out for Disaya?  I love Ashley Antoinette's story that she spins in your mind.  The narrator was phenomenal and the characters have been formed to make you love, hate or feel for them. The character that had my mind going was Mona and her reality check. I like the way that the people in the story connect from the past to the present. The scheming and plotting throughout the book is a little unbelievable but regardless it's what makes the story grab you and keeps you engaged and wanting to read on.  I can't wait to read PRADA PLAN 2 which I think will be like hearing the psychopath’s story.  Remember there are three sides to every story with the final story being the truth usually.  LOVE THIS READ!

The narrator killed it for me!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator! She was horrible, sounded like she was out of breath and her voice irritated me.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I love the author but if the narrator stays the same, I will read it myself. I can't deal with this narrator.

Would you be willing to try another one of Honey Jones’s performances?

Nope! She didn't bring the characters to life for me.

Did The Prada Plan inspire you to do anything?

Continue to encourage my daughter to value herself.

Any additional comments?

Very proud of the author.

Totally unbelievable!

I truly struggle to finish this book & I love urban fiction. This book was so predictable & totally unbelievable. I understand this is fiction but the things in this book were so farfetched it was unreal. I have no desire to read part 2.

Narrator is horrible

The storyline is good gives us some insight on YaYa but the narrator made a real hard listen. She is too dry did not bring the characters to life and she was reading like this was her first time reading the story.

One of the best books ever

Would you listen to The Prada Plan again? Why?

This book was worth the nine hours. It played on my emotions and made me feel as though I was in the story. The characters are exceptional.

What about Honey Jones’s performance did you like?

The narrator was exceptional and played the parts right and knew what to say and do to play on my emotions.

Still Listening

I'm still listening to this book. I must say the book has my complete attention. I'm a huge Ashley & Jaquavis fan. I've read most of their books. But the narrator Honey Jones is really messing up the listening experience for me. Why sound so ghetto? It's as if she can't speak without sounding like an around the way girl. For all the characters? Even the dudes? My personal opinion is, Nicole Small would have done a much better job at narrating this book. It's ok to read without stretching your words and making squeaky ghetto girl voices. I'm going to continue to listen but it's really hard to ignore this voice.

5 minutes in and done

The narrator is dry and boring. I’ll read this one instead because I know the Author brings it!

Good story

It met my expectations and beyond. Crazy drama that only Ms. Ashley's imagination can put together. Lol If you enjoy a good urban fiction book with a bit of a love story and a lot of unpredictable drama, I suggest you read this.
