If you could sum up The Making of Us in three words, what would they be?
Intriguing, unrealistic, fun
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Making of Us?
I really enjoyed the meeting of Lydia and Dean for the first time. I thought it was an interesting idea that two such lost souls could feel found by meeting their genetic sibling.
What about Gabrielle Glaister’s performance did you like?
I thought her voicing of the characters was excellent and gave them great depth.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Lydia's discovery of the truth of her past. Tragedy after tragedy affected her life and shaped the woman she became and the unravelling of the sad truth was hard to listen to.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed the book and it was a great listen, but I found it somehow unbelievable. It seemed that none of the characters experienced any negative consequences from opening the Pandora's Box of their conception which I found quite difficult to believe.
