Oh. MY. LOVE. LOVE. Suspense!
I laughed out loud a few times during this book in the Viking series by Nelson, and I wept too. The author must be a bear on the outside but a marshmallow within. Why? He weaves details of the sea, ships, weapons and excruciating fighting... yet he gives such sweet and reverent descriptions of LOVE - in all forms - that makes us teary upon the hearing. LOVE THESE BOOKS! EXCELLENT NARRATION!

Viking Valor, Vengeance, and Vindication
I did not expect the story to carry forward with the strength of description, continuity of plot, and complete closure without trite wrap ups. The writing did not disappoint. Oh, I lied. I was disappointed that it ended.

Good storyline, with credible characters
Narrators style browns on listener with an appreciation and feel for the leading characters of the story. The story growns in strength as do the characters. Overall a good yarn, which is an easy listen.

Slower start, but picks up very well
Very thrilling once you get past all the seamanship details and story setup. As with the other books, there are multiple sides to every conflict.
