Disappointing
I have tried several audiobook in the Poldark series and am still disappointed. I don't think the narrator has the range of different characters that would make the series come to life. Perhaps I am jaded from the BBC series and am expecting too much? Certainly one of the books must be a winner so I'll keep trying.

The book continue the saga of the Poldark and Warleggen families. I found the performance of Oliver Hembrough continued its excellence!!
I only wish the seventh volume of this series (The Angry Tide) would be available to Audible subscribers in the USA.

Great story, brilliantly narrated!
The Poldark series has me riveted, and this narrator does a superb job of differentiating the characters,all with different accents and tones. It's like watching the PBS series, but fills in the gaps.

Oliver J.Hembrough !!!
Oliver, brings this book to life! Of all my audio books this series performed my Oliver are my favorite done by this extremely talented man. The only book I can not listen to is Demelza, because I was so used to listening to Oliver.

Poldark ROCKS!!
Another great book in Graham's awesome series!! It is amazing how he can create this series and still have EACH book be as amazing as every other!!! That can only be because of sheer genius and creativity!! Furthermore, the narrator is perfect!! I hope Oliver remains onboard for the entire series!!!
