Malcolm Holmes and Charlie Stone have been together for 15 years. Despite Charlie's willingness to accept Malcolm's unspoken domination in bed, something is missing from their relationship. Early one morning, they rescue a passed-out Kerry from being washed away by the tide, and Charlie immediately senses a kindred spirit in the lost younger man. When Kerry's roommate kicks him out, Malcolm and Charlie invite him into their home. As Charlie and Kerry bond over Charlie's garden, Malcolm sees Kerry may be just who they have been looking for to complete their lives. All they have to do is show Kerry, and each other, that Kerry's submissive tendencies will fit their dynamic.
But someone is sabotaging Kerry at every turn. As he struggles to discover the culprit, he fears for the safety of his new friends. If Malcolm and Charlie cannot help, their lifelong search for their perfect third may not end with the happily ever after they imagined.

What Makes A Family...
Apprehension settled as I began to read/listen to this book. See, I am not much into the idea of 'third's so I was a little leery with this tale. But, as with most times I allow preconceived notions to rule, I was wrong. I enjoyed this story, a lot! OMG, Kerry's life was almost too much. His middle name was 'bad-luck'. Then the cast of characters enters and you get a sense that some of Kerry's bad-luck may be self-induced. Meeting with Charlie and Malcolm, Kerry begins to seek and discover what it is that he has been looking for, what he is deserving of...love and happiness. A great story that was only enhanced by the vocal talents of Greg Tremblay. Definitely recommend...

multi layered manage
A lovely, intense, and complex M/M romance. This story feels more real than many written about the same topics. [DS, triads, abuse, coping behaviors, parenting, health etc] It focuses on the emotional complications of three men raised in various foster care experiences and the impact this has on their relationship[s]. Their sexuality is a constant part of the story but there is actually very little sex. [You can decide if that is a good or bad thing according to your taste] Greg Tremblay's narration is reliably good. There is a lot stuffed into this story, yet I wish parts of it had been filled out more. These are characters worth spending a credit on.

don't buy this trash
after struggling through the first chapter I have given up early into the second chapter I can no longer listen to this awful voice.. I feel sorry for these authors who have there work ruined by Amazon allowing the narration to be done by amatures. .. I intend to ask for a refund on this
