Publisher's summary

National best-selling authors Carl Weber and Treasure Hernandez are back with their latest installment in the wildly popular Family Business series.

LC Duncan, patriarch and leader of the Duncan clan is alive and well after being shot by a mysterious gunman. His near death experience has caused him and his wife Chippy to reflect on both the past and present, and together they decide that it's time to return to Waycross, Georgia for a long overdue family reunion.

But wherever the Duncans go, trouble and drama are never too far behind, and this time it comes in the form of longtime Duncan enemy Vinnie Dash, and Ruby, the mother of Orlando Duncan's baby who disappeared before the child was born.

I think I’ve outgrown the Duncans

Through the years I have loved all the books and different series involving the Duncans. However, I don’t know if it was the lazily written storyline, the inconsistencies, or just that they’ve waited too long to put this new book out. The book started off okay, but it seems like the writers just gave up and rushed the ending.

Also, the narration was poor. One if the make narrators could barely read. The female narrators didn’t sound age appropriate.

I won’t give up on the series yet though. But just remember your loyal readers are maturing and need better.

Please hire better narrators!

The story was exciting and I want to know what happens next, but most of the readers were bad. The voice of Chippy should have been mature. Instead, the reader sounded like a 20 year old. Listening to this has prompted me to seek employment as a narrator.

Good book but the weaker than the first two

The characters were good except Chippie. Her voice was too young for the written character.

Great story, but issues with narration characters

Loved the story line. But I don’t appreciate the change in narrator voices for particular characters. Chippie’s was her character voice from when she was young in “Grand Opening.” Not the voice from the FB 3. Doesn’t make sense and sounds WAY too young for the age of the character in this book. Also, Vegas was narrated by a completely different voice that didn’t match his character. He is supposed to be the highly intellectual, ninja type person. But now has a voice like Darrell’s narrator. Please go back to the narrator from FB 3. This was very disappointing.

Very different than the tv show

I like the books better than the show. The show got a little weird. The reader for London is terrible. Overall I enjoyed this
