Feels like reading someone I can’t relate to’s fever dream

What’s with needing to pee being used as a way to say she’s scared? Is that a thing that happens? It was so confusing that it put me out of the story.

I love this author normally, and would recommend reading the author’s work to anyone reading. I don’t dislike this one, but the pee thing is really silly feeling, and the fork thing makes no sense to me

Normally, a fan of the author

I really enjoy this author in particular, and have loved all of his previous books that I have read, but this one just did not strike the same chord. The story was all right and the buildup was good but the end product did not satisfy me. It was kind of a ridiculous ending for what could’ve been a great book. But, this is just my opinion.

Not worth it...

I’m sorry to say this story is a mess. Cardboard characters, loose ends everywhere, and really? What’s with this girl wetting herself every five minutes.
