Publisher's Summary

Christy finalist Charles Martin writes faith-based novels that engage believers and non-believers alike with their realistic and touching stories of Southern living. Life will never be the same for Dylan, but will his soul be darkened by heartbreak or galvanized through hope?

Worthy Writing....

Charles Martin is a a gifted writer, however his stories are sometimes hard to take, much like life, so if you listen to books to escape the difficulties of life, well, be aware. My favorite so far is Chasing Fireflies. This is a really good read but it makes you look at raw pain. I love the interaction between these true friends. It makes you aware of the impact we have on one another. Charles Martin's books feed us in a way I cannot define. It is like a light he shelters and his stories stir that in me.

Wonderful book!

Enjoyed the colorful characters in this book. As always, Charles Martin threads his faith throughout the book, without excessive preaching. Leaves lots of room for reflection! Highly recommend!
