Police Zombies

Interesting take on zombies, curses, and a police procedural. Also liked the take on the afterlife. and ghosts. Didn't take itself too seriously. Nice blend of serious and fun.

I liked it, but it was too long.

Story was interesting and I liked the characters but the story could have been 3 hours shorter. Too much extra stuff that didn’t need to be there. For example, her ex getting back together with his first wife.

I would still recommend the book, just know it is going to be a long listen.

Great but had make it make sense moments that threw me

This was a free listen on Audible. I liked the blurb so I gave it a shot. I am glad that I did. The narrator was energetic and the story was very well written except for the places where you really had to suspend your logic just to go with the flow. I will be continuing on with the rest of the series.

One of the best books I’ve heard

The narrator was wonderful at her job. I’m looking forward to hearing more stories from her.

Suspend disbelief and listen!

Loved this story. It kept my attention from start to finish. Great adventure despite disbelief.

This was a labor.

This was a hard book for me to get through, it seemed to take forever. Overall the story was ok but it just felt slow. The narrator wasn't bad, but this story just seemed to go on and on. I'm going to give book 2 a try and hopefully the pace will be better.

Great Fun

This was a fun book to listen to and an original idea. It's comedy that actually made laugh out loud a bit, and that doesn't happen often, even when listening to books that had me laughing out loud when I read them. It's true comedy's hard.

Fun, fluffy read

I enjoyed this listen. Not a ton of action or romance, but it was fun and pleasant enough. I plan on listening to the next book! Fortunately, no huge cliffhanger - those make me crazy.

Interesting but good

This was a good listen. An interesting concept for zombies, living between the living world and the Shade (dead) due to a curse. Our detective is trying to find out who cursed her, who is pulling her strings and what their end game is.
