"Tingling with apprehension over the possible consequences of his decision, he abruptly stepped out of the line and made his way out of the station. Little did Ken know that this action was
The Dawning of Destiny."
Ken was supposed to get on a bus and head to the job waiting for him on a farm after leaving the sheltered world of an orphanage. Instead, he chose to hitchhike like a friend of his had, which started him on the adventure of a lifetime.
While on the road, Ken encounters a family of Jewish immigrants who left Europe at the beginning of World War II. When the father needs hospitalization, Ken stays with the family and starts working for a local farm. Just as he begins feeling like he's found home, his 18th birthday comes, forcing him to sign up for the draft.
Taking advice from a fellow draftee, Ken volunteers for the Air Force, which takes him across the ocean to the misty lands of England.
Though Ken's time in England begins pleasantly, allowing him to see fantastic sights he'd only dreamed of, the reality of war soon becomes evident when his friend Hal, a man who helps Ken become a Christian, is lost in battle. Nearly losing his own life as well shortly after, Ken winds up in a German POW camp. But when God provides a means of escape, Ken's life takes a surprising turn and is forever changed.
Come along on the amazing journey as Ken discovers God's incredible plan for his life.
