A tale of long-ago love and adventure involving a beautiful and quixotic woman named Susan Delgado.

My favourite of the series!

Loved the flash back of Roland's first love, at first I didn't want to leave the present and the main characters of the series, but then I didn't want to leave Hambry and come back. Frank Muller gets 5 stars for narration!

Best in the series so far!

The best in the series so far!

The Dark Tower books just keep getting better and better! If you enjoyed The Waste Lands, you will love this!

Most of Wizard and Glass is spent filling out some of Roland’s back story and it is a humdinger! Frank Muller owns Mid World. He brings so much character and feeling to all the characters. He style and delivery suits this story so well to my ears.

Can’t wait to get stuck in the next in the series!

Stephen kings epic tale

What did you like most about The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass?

Stephen King has created an interesting group of charactors and some wonderful lands. This book is number four but is a prequel to the books before. The story is based around a young Roland and sets up the story brilliantly. Action packed could even read it as a stand alone book. Really enjoy the dark tower books.

What other book might you compare The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass to, and why?

Lord of the rings, nightwatch.

What about Frank Muller’s performance did you like?

Perfect.voice for all the characters

Wonderfully written, beautifully performed.

This reverie volume of The Dark Tower brought back all the bittersweet memories of my very first youthful love. Performed wonderfully by Frank Muller, I found all the little nods contained within at once charming and grounding. Although I saw some twists and turns coming they were met with horror and chagrin as I grew to love some of the characters that met (and dealt) terrible fates. I highly recommend this book. Stephen King is a master of evocative narrative.
